About Deosai National Park

Deosai is the second highest plateau on Earth after the Tibetan Changtang. Spanning over 3,000 square kilometers above 4,000 meters, this sweeping alpine wilderness is carpeted in wildflowers during summer and serves as the protected habitat for the endangered Himalayan Brown Bear and snow leopards.
