Expedition Overview
Spantik, also known as the Golden Peak, is celebrated as one of the most accessible and aesthetic 7,000-meter peaks in the Karakoram. Rising above the Chogo Lungma Glacier, its classic Southeast Ridge offers moderate angle snow slopes, minimal objective rockfall hazard, and spectacular views across the entire Karakoram Range, making it the perfect training expedition before tackling 8,000-meter giants.
