Booking & Logistics FAQ
We recommend booking at least 60 to 90 days in advance to allow proper processing of Pakistan CKNP permits, military clearances, and visa recommendation letters.
A 25% deposit confirms your reservation and initiates government permit processing. The remaining balance is payable upon arrival in Islamabad or Skardu prior to trek departure.
Yes. Askole Expeditions coordinates with Pakistan Army 5th Aviation Squadron for high-altitude helicopter rescue from the Baltoro Glacier. All clients must possess valid rescue insurance.
